I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love. ~Mother Teresa
Many people believe that they don't have what it takes to make a difference in the world. The truth is, every one of us is put in this world to make a difference in our own unique way. What may be little to you and not worth it can make the biggest difference to someone else. The size of the contribution is not what matters most; the key is to do it with the intention of 'doing good' with heart.
..
Oxfam Australia is part of a global movement of dedicated people working hard to fight poverty and injustice. Rich countries are blocking a global trade system that would help Make Poverty History. This injustice will only be changed if enough people across the world famous, poor, rich, young, old, black, white, Hispanic, oriental call on rich country governments to change their trade policies.
..
Be apart of the action.
..
There is no better time to make a difference in the world. You don't need to wait till you have the time to share some love; you don't have to wait till you make more money to share a slice of
bread. Little efforts count, and you can start making small contributions today.
..
Happiness and love are the two greatest gifts you can give in the world. Too often, we're too indulged in our own gratifications that we forget there are people in this world whom we can make a little happier and feel more loved if we just give. 'To receive, you must first give".
..
Some time in your life, hope that you might see one starved man, the look on his face when the bread finally arrives. Hope that you might have baked it or bought it or even kneaded it yourself. For that look on his face, for you meeting his eyes across a piece of bread, you might be willing to lose a lot, or suffer a lot, or die a little, even.
