We, the unwilling. Led by the unknowing. Are doing the impossible. For the ungrateful. We have done so much. For so long. With so little. We are now qualified. To do anything. With nothing.

Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.

I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love. ~Mother Teresa

Many people believe that they don't have what it takes to make a difference in the world. The truth is, every one of us is put in this world to make a difference in our own unique way. What may be little to you and not worth it can make the biggest difference to someone else. The size of the contribution is not what matters most; the key is to do it with the intention of 'doing good' with heart.

..

Oxfam Australia is part of a global movement of dedicated people working hard to fight poverty and injustice. Rich countries are blocking a global trade system that would help Make Poverty History. This injustice will only be changed if enough people across the world famous, poor, rich, young, old, black, white, Hispanic, oriental call on rich country governments to change their trade policies.

..

Be apart of the action.

..

There is no better time to make a difference in the world. You don't need to wait till you have the time to share some love; you don't have to wait till you make more money to share a slice of

bread. Little efforts count, and you can start making small contributions today.

..

Happiness and love are the two greatest gifts you can give in the world. Too often, we're too indulged in our own gratifications that we forget there are people in this world whom we can make a little happier and feel more loved if we just give. 'To receive, you must first give".

..

Some time in your life, hope that you might see one starved man, the look on his face when the bread finally arrives. Hope that you might have baked it or bought it or even kneaded it yourself. For that look on his face, for you meeting his eyes across a piece of bread, you might be willing to lose a lot, or suffer a lot, or die a little, even.

"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged"

Albert Einstein once said
" Let every man judge according to his own standards, by what he has himself read, not by what others tell him"
but this seemingly sensible quote is evident in our vast knowledge as humans, that we don't accept the ability of one man to make the right choice or best decision for him at a particular time and subsequently we judge, taunt and scrutinize these people if their opinion differs to ours.
Recently, Tennessee state just passed legislation banning the word "gay" or any discussion of homosexuality from schools. So how does this help the situation?? Does TN think that by banning the word "gay" all the gay people will disappear. Denying rights to some that we give to others is civil rights atrocity. Person beliefs should never defeat equality. For a country that is so 'forward thinking' and prides it self on equality of sexes and race how can this intolerance of a subset of our community's be allowed. Furthermore this is not just schools banning students from using the word hatefully, its banning teachers from acknowledging gay kids exist. This wont just affect LGBT kids, but also children of gay/lesbian couples. So what are the LGBT children going to do now? feel more alone?

It is sickening to live in a world where such blatant hate can become a law. The hate mongering of these people is unacceptable!

Capricious

So I'm frequently asked where do i find the crazy, hilarious websites I'm frequently visiting at home or in class. I have found some of these myself, although i must owe credit to my extremely knowledgeable brother Jorje ,and dear friend Mary. Now these websites are often not for the faint hearted or for that small section of the population that manage to be offended by a every generation y modernism of any race, culture, word or person. Yes, if summer heights high offended you, i suggest;
1. don't go to the following websites
2. this blog will also extremely offend you so you better click off now.

I know sheish can you believe those people," i said puck you miss", "what did you say Jonah?" "i said puck you with a 'p' can't you spell miss?'" is priceless comedian entertainment!!

So anyways back to the websites, okay so I'll give you my most favourite ones:

  • www.fmylife.com a enjoyable website for those people, like me who get endless laughing highs at the expense of other peoples terrible decisions, accidents, days and family's.
  • www.textsfromlastnight.com ah now this one sums itself up just like the last one. This is a American website that pays tribute to the terrible and generally regretted drunk messages from the night before. Oh and while we are visiting this web page i must mention American Apparel, oh how i love you clothes and accessories, for anyone desperate to own said clothing and accessories they have finally opened a store on chapel street, huzzah no more shipping from America!!
  • www.uglyoutfitsNYC.com yet again self explanatory, this is for the fashionistas among us. A website devoted to the fashion roadkill worn by people unfortunately confident enough to walk the streets in their latest deranged ensemble, seriously kill me now!!.
  • www.lamebook.com now have you ever got frustrated when on facebook your live feed constantly updates to tell you Sarah has become a fan of 'I'm a virgin' and 'high five, 21 by 21'. Yes this website pays tribute to those contradictory fan groups, hilarious break ups and above all funny things, photo comments.
  • http://thingsboganslike.wordpress.com/ Now yes yet again self explanatory. But this website expresses the thoughts of about 20% of the Internet population who still frown at broadmeadows and cringed when the ed hardy store opened at doncaster. 20% you ask? Yes the other 80% are bogans whether they cover it or not, they are never the less Bogans. Paying Tribute to all the things bogans like, is such an inspirational page and often saves me from being eternally frustrated and finding sharp implements because of the stupid stories nightly on today tonight.

Now i have most likely caused you to use all your Internet downloads (because well if you are like me will check these pages daily as i like to think of them as a ritual or bible) and will be about to deny it your housemates and tell them it was their lecture downloading that caused the Internet to slow down. So i shall leave you to the endless entertainment of my cyber world.

Salute

So by the roll of your eyes and sigh in your voice I can feel the boredom and closing of web page happening before I even get a thought out. I will be the first to admit that we already have an incredible amount of blogs, web pages, facebook pages, tweets, toilet wall scribblings and constant status updates dedicated to the extreme ignorant views or plain stupid of the the feminists, posers, political activists or just troubled individual, or terribly under researched, spell checked, written and above all other cardinal year 10 English sins grammatically incorrect we do not at all need another blog, slowing down the net and causing extreme angst every time one searches for those beloved Britney lyrics or latest clothing brand; which your are possibly giggling at or posting LMFAO on facie but secretly agreeing with, because in a perfect world Britney would always be the first search result uploaded on google, hello I'm a slave 4 U, love it!!.
But I do indeed feel the need to create a blog (which for all those slightly dumbed down by the public school system wondering for the past 100 words what you have stumbled across?? a blog [defined by wiki]: contraction of the word web log; is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or videos) not for self validation nor a forum to release anger urged on by my therapist but to stop annoying the hell out of my friends, family, housemates and classmates with my silly statements, crazy views and more often then not loud rambling to myself.

So if you find yourself bored by facie as no one has uploaded any new photos or that boy has already been stalked to death by you and your friends, stop by Unique Reject for a refreshingly funny, ironic and occasionally whacked out view of anything from my favourite web page, TV show to shoes and food. Although be prepared I can't spell and generally care little for grammar.

If you are still wondering what 'Unique Reject' has to do with anything as I am clearly a ditz at heart with a major shopping addiction; it is a small new subculture or stereotype which I fall into without any effort. For a true understanding into the mechanical works of my ever evolving brain I must stick to the original definition perfectly coined by urban dictionary. Yes urban dictionary a wonderful cyber world of definitions from sex positions to names, where one can spend hours on end in fits of laughter. But getting back to the point urban dictionary defines a Unique reject as a person basically out to have a good time. One will run around screaming random tings, socializing with random people, do things that are unexpected and not on purpose. You can't become a Unique reject..... you just are one. A unique reject has friends in many different subcultures. You are different from others and don't try to be. the person running around screaming 'fuck the llamas!' is a unique reject.

So now you understand the reasoning behind the name you will soon see this intrinsic subculture of being, come through my odd and endless ramblings.

Enjoy,

Hasta Manana
